The Old Coach House stores & Post Office offers a full post office with free cash withdrawals and sells a range of drinks, chocolates and sweets, a small selection of tinned and frozen goods, sliced bread and rolls and cakes and biscuits.

Peveril stores is the place for fresh bread, pastries and savouries. There homemade cakes are wonderful and small deli counter is useful for picnic supplies. They also sell newspapers, sweets and chocolate.

Watsons Farm Shop

A family run business in Hope. All the Lamb and Beef they sell in the farm shop is reared on their farm. The Beef is hung traditionally for a minimum of 3 weeks to improve quality and flavour. They sell a range of cooked meats, all prepared and cooked on the premises. They also stock a range of fine English Cheeses, Quiches, Meat Pies, Pork Pies, Pasties, Home Made Biscuits and Cakes. Robert cures his own bacon and is renowned for his famous Black Pudding, homemade sausages and burgers.

 

The Hope Chest Deli

Offering delicatessen produce including, hand-baked bread from Roses Bakery, made to order sandwiches and a range of locally baked cakes, vanillas, custards. In our deli counter they stock the locally made Stanage Millstone, a brie like cheese made just down the road in Hathersage as well as the other Derbyshire made, award-winning cheeses from the Hartington Cheese Creamery, including the very popular, Hartington Stilton.  They also have a range of cooked meats, salami, a selection of olives and other anti-pasti, home-made mackerel pate and coleslaw, locally made award-winning pork pies, huntsman pies, quiches and a choice of savouries, including Peak Pasties (a Derbyshire version of a Cornish Pasty - not for the lighter appetite!). Not to forget Bradwells Ice-cream, in individual pots or larger ones to take home.

What’s more if you need some advice they have knowledgeable and friendly staff that are always happy to help or give recommendations. This is an experience not just shopping in our opinion.

All the major supermarkets will deliver to us.  The delivery address is the old coach house, the stones, Castleton, s33 8wx.  However, there are a range of supermarkets in the area if you fancy a trip out to pick up supplies; we have listed them below (nearest first).
